An Arts council development Project
This took the form of a six-week exploration into the Norse and Celtic myths that permeate through British culture. The company explored stories for recurring themes. We explored representations of good and evil to see if we could identify an unwritten morality within the culture of these islands which surfaced in stories.
We found Christian themes in pre- Christian stories and pagan themes in the Bible. The work culminated in a work-in-progress evening at Theatre In the Mill, Bradford University. Essentially, we were trying to pin down the ingredients that made a story that endured.
